Our 1978
Corvette
This is our 1978 Corvette that we purchased in February 2006. It is
Dark Blue with a Blue interior and optioned with the larger L82
motor, PS, PB, PW, AC, both sets of T-Tops (body colored and Smoked
Glass), AM/FM cass stereo, and more.
When we purchased the car is only had 9,489 original miles but
unfortunately had been a bit neglected during it's previous
ownership so it required a lot of work to get it back into the
condition it deserves.
During March, April, and May of 2006 the car went through a major
refurbishing where the motor was pulled out, all external parts
were removed off the motor down to the block, and refinished. The
engine bay itself was cleaned up and repainted along with the frame
and front suspension components.
In July 2006 the car was dropped off at the paint shop for new
paint and it was completed in August.
As of the end of August 2006 the car now is now pretty much
finished except for a couple of very minor item that i'll take care
of over the winter months.
